Optimizing Human Happiness Through Science
About JOYD Foundation
The JOYD Foundation is an Australian ACNC registered charity dedicated to improving mental health through evidence-based education, research and community action. Our mission is to make the latest mental health research freely accessible and easy to understand, empowering individuals and communities to adopt practical strategies that help prevent mental illness and improve wellbeing. We work alongside researchers, health professionals and community organisations to translate science into engaging documentaries, public speaking, educational resources and charitable initiatives that create lasting positive change.
Together, we are building a future where evidence-based mental health education is accessible to everyone.

Our Values
Scientific Integrity
Every claim we make is backed by peer-reviewed research. We are teaming up with some of the best minds on our planet to make a global impact on human happiness and suicide prevention.
Free Access
Mental health support shouldn't be a luxury. We offer free resources, free community events, and publish all research findings publicly.
Authentic Connection
We connect with community members who have lived through real world experiences, wellness experts and researchers and share that knowledge freely.
