The 727k Run

Run for Those We've Lost. Fund Research to Save Those We Can.

Running for Those We've Lost

727,000 – The number of people who tragically take their own lives each year globally. That number comes from the World Health Organisation estimates.

Each number represents a person. A life cut short. A family forever changed. A community that lost someone precious.

We’re running 727,000 steps to honor their memory and fund research to  prevent future tragedies.

How the 727k Run Works

The Challenge: Approximately 500 kilometers (727,000 steps) run over several months, documented daily with authentic video content discussing mental health, human connection, and the journey toward happiness.
Founder’s Commitment: Johnny Debnam will complete the full 727,000 steps personally, running every single day regardless of weather, fatigue, or obstacles. Every run will be filmed and shared on social media with reflections on mental health, human resilience and lessons learned.

Community Participation:

YOU can join the movement! Contribute your own steps to our community tally:

  1. Go for a run (or walk, movement is movement!)
  2. Log your steps using your phone or fitness watch
  3. Record a 30-second video saying: “My name is [name], I’m contributing [X] steps to the 727 Run because [your reason]”
  4. Share it on social media with #727Run and tag @joyd_health
  5. Submit your total to be added to our community tally

Pet-Friendly! Bring your dog, camel, or any furry companion. Mental health support includes our animal friends who help us through tough days.
